Example Case Study

When the occupiers originally moved into their Victorian mid terraced house, the garden had been totally neglected and was completely overgrown. The client wanted a variety of seating areas, somewhere to entertain friends, and a greenhouse and garden shed.

Selina designed the garden to have three separate areas for entertaining friends which received sun and/or shade at all times of the day. A large sunny patio close to the house was designed with climbers and mixed planting to give privacy from neighbouring gardens.

The clients were keen gardeners and large herbaceous beds were created. Selina also introduced a summerhouse into the garden for the family to use throughout the year - a space for relaxing, entertaining and admiring the garden. Electrics and a TV point were installed.
